The Vela Table Lamp by FOMU is a sculptural study in lightness and permanence, created in response to the Silk Organza Bralette. A translucent silk organza shade carries the garment’s exposed overlock stitching into an illuminated form, balanced by a sand-cast aluminium base. A considered meeting of soft fabric and cast metal, Vela brings the dialogue between garment and object into an everyday setting.
